Alleyn's Parents' Association
Welcome: who we are and what we do
YOU are the Alleyn’s Parents' Association: all parents and guardians of Alleyn's Senior School pupils automatically become members of the Alleyn's Parents' Association when their child joins the School.
The aims of the Association are simple: to support the School, staff, pupils and school community in a variety of practical and financial ways, while providing parents with the opportunities to forge friendships and lasting relationships with other parents and with the school community. We appreciate that once your child enters secondary school it becomes more difficult to interact with other parents; the Association runs many events, from the legendary Holly Fair to the hugely popular Quiz Night, as well as occasions such as the Year 7 class parties and curriculum/pastoral evenings, designed to encourage parents to socialise with others throughout the School. While all of these activities are great fun, some are also fundraising; each year we raise substantial amounts for the Pupil Support Fund* and other school-based charitable endeavours.
The Alleyn's Parents' Association achieves its aims through you, the parents, and your active involvement in what we do.
From Year 7 to Year 13, whatever stage your child is at, and in whatever way you feel you can, your contributions will make a difference. Whether it is making cakes for the Holly Fair Cafe, attending the Founder's Day celebrations, volunteering to help at events, supporting work experience students, providing Raffle prizes, becoming a Year Rep, or simply sitting in an audience or taking part in a Quiz Night, whether you are a hugely enthusiastic and energetic volunteer or a one-off helper, we urge you to get involved. We value any contribution large or small, now or in the future. We need you!
