Position: Deputy Chairman of the Governing Board. Chairman of Development and Education Committee, Member of Strategy Committee, Finance Committee. She is the School's nominated Trustee on the Board of the Dulwich Estate. Length of Service on Governing Board: 15 years. Biography: Angela was one of the first girls who attended Alleyn's when she joined the Sixth Form in the late 1970s. Since then Angela has maintained her links with the School, serving as an officer of the Edward Alleyn Club (being elected President in 2000), and as a Trustee of the Alleyn Benelovent Fund. Angela also founded, and continues to run, the EAC's drama section, the Burbage Theatre Company, which performs regularly at Alleyn's. Angela is a solicitor and partner in Hill Dickinson LLP, practising in the city of London. She specialises in insurance-based litigation, particularly professional indemnity and regulatory work. Length of Service on Governing Board: Newly Appointed. Biography: Iain was educated at St Edward's School, Oxford and Hull University; he lives in London, where he works as a Managing Director at MBIA, an insurance company specialising in the guaranteeing of credit risk primarily across the public sector. Iain's career has spanned three decades in the city, during which time he has worked for some of the world's leading financial institutions; he continues to serve on the Board of the European Securitisation Forum (Chairperson 2004/5), and has served on the Board of the Bond Markets Association (now SIFMA). He maintains a keen interest in drama, serving as a member of the Development Board of the Almeida Theatre, and sport. Biography: Taught Business Studies and Economics at Alleyn's for 23 years and was Housemaster of Roper's for 18 years. Martin Fosten was invited to join the Alleyn's Governing body shortly after becoming the Academic and Pastoral Principal of the Royal Ballet School. Two sons at Alleyn's from 1986 to 1997.Career in transport, manufacturing and retail. Built up a private group of companies located in various locations in England specialising in distribution, warehousing and engineering. Sold the group in 1987 and then became a director of public companies in the motor distribution and retail sectors. Remained in these positions until 2000. Recently involved in commercial and private property investment and development, both in the UK and the United States. Qualifications: FIMI (Fellow of the Motor Industry)

Biography: Paul George is the Director of the Professional Oversight Board, the body established by the Government to provide independent oversight of the accounting and actuarial professions. Prior to taking up this role Paul was an audit partner with KPMG and, more recently, a director of a publicly quoted consultancy business specialising in helping companies improve their operational effectiveness. He was a School Prefect and House Captain of Roper's. He studied for a Business Degree and subsequently qualified as a solicitor. Philip has practised as a lawyer in the City of London since 1975 and has been, and continues to be, a leading member of one of the largest international global law firms. Position: Member of the Finance Committee and Development and Education Committee. Length of Service on Governing Board: 1 Year Biography: Iain is the Worshipful Company of Saddlers' representative on the Governing Board, following both his father and brother in this role. Iain was Master of the Saddlers' Company 2007-8. A keen athlete in his youth, Iain's original career was in marketing posts at Reader's Digest and Financial Times, after which he co-owned an international legal, business and technical publishing company, later sold to Wolters Kluwer. This included a US subsidiary he had started. Since then, he has built-up a specialist database software business and bureau, mainly for the publishing and travel industries.
