The School Day
The Junior School opens and supervision begins at 8.15 am. Children are in school by 8.30am ready for registration at 8.35am. Following our daily assembly, four morning lessons of 40 minutes each, with a 20 minute break at 10.20am, take us through to lunch at 12.00 noon.
Various clubs take place at lunchtime.
Afternoon lessons begin at 1.20pm and continue until 3.30pm. Reception children take a rest period after lunch and all infants have a 15 minute afternoon play. Ten minutes back with form teachers at the end of the day helps children organise what they need to take home.
Afternoon clubs take place between 3.30 and 4.30pm.
The school runs an After School Care Scheme for any child from 3.30pm until 6pm. Children have the opportunity to complete homework tasks, play board games, use computers, or the library, and play ball games with one of our Senior School assistants.
