As part of Alleyn's celebration of 50 Years of Co-Education, the Festival of Inspiration brings together an exceptional community of alumni, parents, partners, entrepreneurs, academics, creatives and industry leaders to inspire the next generation. The event reflects what co-education at Alleyn's has always been about: working together, supporting one another, listening to different perspectives and learning from each other's experiences.
For every pupil, the Festival is a chance to think differently about their own future. Whether they arrive with a clear ambition or no idea at all what they want to do, they'll leave having explored career pathways they may never have encountered otherwise and with real insight from people who've built careers in those fields.
At the heart of the Festival is the belief that inspiration comes from connection. As Alleyn's marks half a century of co-education, the Festival celebrates the power of bringing people together to share ideas, broaden horizons and help young people imagine what their own future could be.

Every pupil taking part will attend one of two Spark Speaker talks, hearing first-hand from remarkable individuals whose own journeys embody ambition, resilience and impact. Our Spark speakers this year are George Imafidon MBE, award-winning humanitarian engineer and CEO of Motivez, and Laura-Jane Silverman MBE, Head and Co-founder of LSE Generate.
George Imafidon MBE is an award-winning humanitarian engineer and social impact leader from Peckham, South London. George's passion for sustainability and innovation is expansive. Named Young Engineer of the Year in 2022, he is CEO of Motivez, an organisation dedicated to supporting young people from underrepresented backgrounds to access opportunities, particularly within science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
George is also a Race Engineer with Team X44, Sir Lewis Hamilton's electric race team, as well as a board member at The Hamilton Commission. He serves as a board member at the Co-op Foundation and active alumni of The Amos Bursary where he helped raised £1 million for the charity to expand their support for young people. In 2023, George was recognised for his work in the King's Birthday Honours List for services to young people in STEM. He was also named as one of the top Black entrepreneurs to watch by HSBC in 2023.
Laura-Jane Silverman MBE is the Head and Co-founder LSE Generate, managing the entrepreneurship centre in London and its international chapters across the globe. Prior to joining LSE, LJ founded and led a careers and recruitment consultancy focused on climate and sustainability sectors, and earlier in her career worked in television and media. Her work focuses particularly on social innovation, healthy ageing, and mission-driven entrepreneurship, with a strong interest in how innovation ecosystems can contribute to more inclusive and sustainable futures. In 2026, she was awarded an MBE for services to social innovation and education.
Students will take part in one of 24 immersive interactive workshops. Each workshop is led by a professional working at the forefront of their field, spanning the creative industries, enterprise, social impact, sustainability, technology and wellbeing. These hands-on sessions bring real careers and real-world challenges vividly to life, giving pupils a genuine taste of the paths ahead of them.
The day is rounded off by a vibrant Quad Fair, where students can meet and talk directly with professionals from across a huge range of sectors to get insights and inspiration.
