Activities for everyone
Every day at Alleyn’s Holiday Camp is packed full to the brim with action, adventure and fun. Our Camp is open to all - not just those attending school at Alleyn's.
Our 30-acre site in Dulwich is the perfect location for a multi-sport activity camp. A full range of physical activities gets hearts pumping and there is also the option for your child to indulge their creative side with a daily arts and crafts session in our well-resourced art room.
Our camps are led by experienced staff who know how to maximise fun within a safe environment. With an emphasis on participation, we help children acquire new skills and confidence and make new friends. Our friendly team ensures that every day is bursting with variety and enjoyment and days are planned carefully so there is plenty for every child to choose from.
Activities on offer may include; swimming, football, dodgeball, kwik cricket, gymnastics and trampolining, table tennis, adventure playground, benchball, rollerball, rounders, basketball, netball, capture the flag, football, unihoc, parachute games, table tennis and lots of opportunities for arts and crafts. If a particular sport or game is requested we will do our best to include it in the day's schedule.
During breaks the children play board games together, play with LEGO, do colouring , or they might read a book if they prefer some quiet time.
Our courses run throughout the year during Alleyn's School holidays (including half-terms, Easter and summer holidays). We welcome children attending school between Years 1 and 7 (inclusive); we are unable to take children attending school in Reception.
Our standard day runs from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. Registration opens at 9.00 am and activities run between 9.30 am and 4.15 pm. Children must be collected by 4.45 pm.
Children coming for an extended day (£7.50 supplement per child, per day) may be dropped off between 8.00 am and 9.00 am and must be collected by 6.00 pm.
Unique to our camp, we provide every child with a structured swimming lesson each day. These sessions are delivered by our in-house team of ASA qualified swimming teachers in our state-of-the-art pool.
Children who are unable to swim, who are learning to swim or who are unsure around water will work in small groups with their own dedicated swimming teacher to improve their abilities and increase their confidence.
For able and confident swimmers there will be plenty of time for water-based fun such as water polo, splash sessions, pool games and diving practice.

Provided we are not fully booked we will accept bookings on the day although payment must be made via the Wisepay system or via credit or debit card at the registration desk. Please note we are no longer able to accept cash at the registration desk.
Each child will need to bring a packed lunch and snacks for the day, as well as a refillable drinks bottle. Please download our PARENT INFORMATION which includes further details of the camp including what your child should bring.
We will need to register your child when you drop them off. Registration and collection of children will take place in the SIXTH FORM CENTRE. This includes early drop off and late collection when booking an extended day.
A map of the Alleyn's School site is provided in the link above and in our Parent Information. Please arrive via the Senior School Main Entrance on Townley Road. The Sixth Form Centre is building number 10 and is located near to the Senior School Quad. You are welcome to speak with our Commissionaire and Security Team located at the front of School in Townley Lodge if you need further directions.
Providers of multi-sport activity camps do not have to register with Ofsted if they care for children aged five and over (we will have no children under the age of five) and offer no more than two types of activity from a prescribed list (we offer sport and arts and crafts).
Nevertheless, though not a requirement for a camp of our current scope, we have applied for Voluntary Registration with Ofsted.
Please be assured that all our staff have been fully DBS checked by the School and vetted to ensure that they hold suitable qualifications before starting work for us.
Our policies, procedures and insurance provision meet all necessary requirements and the welfare of the children in our care will always take priority.
