Calling all alumni undergrads and recent graduates!

Can you help on Higher Education Day on 3 July 2019?

We are on the look-out for undergraduates and recent graduates to talk to our Year 12 students about university and course choices. The previous Higher Education Days have been very popular and your assistance is invaluable.

We’d like to give our students the opportunity to speak face-to-face with our former pupils who are already doing or have done the university courses that they might be considering. You may recall, the UCAS application process is a stressful one and we’re hoping you might be able to help them be as fully informed as possible and answer some of their questions. We are looking for students from all universities and subjects with a good all-round balance between arts, humanities, science and languages.

This year’s Higher Education Day is taking place on Wednesday 3 July at the School and the timings are as follows:

13.15                 Lunch

14.15                 Q&A session where you can answer questions about the UCAS process and your experience of university life. There’s no need to prepare anything or make a presentation – just answer some questions from students who’d like to talk to you about your university/course.

15.00                  Tea under the Marquee if you wish to stay

If you’re free on 3 July and near Alleyn’s, please do email Mrs Chaplin, the Upper School Administrator, on, confirming:

· if you are able to attend both the lunch and the rest of the afternoon, we are grateful for any time you can give us

· whether you have any special dietary requirements

· your university, course and year
