Orlando Von Einsiedel's newest venture sees him joining forces with the Sussex's production company, Netflix and the Invictus Games Foundation
Alleyn Old Boy and Oscar winning director, Orlando von Einsiedel is directing a forthcoming documentary series entitled "Heart of Invictus". The series is being produced in partnership between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's production company, Archewell, and the Invictus Games Foundation, of which Harry is a patron in the first of Archewell’s multi-year deal with Netflix to produce content including documentaries, children’s programming and feature films. As stated in one press release, "Heart of Invictus" follows "a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe, all service members who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses on their road to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, now set to take place in 2022". In a statement Harry is quoted as saying, "Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve. This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year…. I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service."
