AJS Evolves: Junior School Development

The exciting development of Alleyn's Junior School will consist of extensive refurbishment of the existing facilities, and the creation of a new, beautiful and highly versatile hall for use by the School and wider community.

The development has been planned over time and has taken in a great deal of careful and sensitive thought, alongside formal liaison with the appropriate planning authorities and consultation with local residents and neighbours. It will be transformative and augment virtually every area of school life, as well as supporting a slight increase in pupil numbers through the growth of the Infants to a two-form entry.

This page provides an overview of the project via the timeline and the question and answer sections that follow below. The information will be regularly updated and we will add photography and video footage from time to time.

In addition, we plan to host information sessions for parents, local residents and other interested parties. These may be in person or virtual according to the circumstances of the time, and we will share details on this page and via other school communication channels as appropriate.

If you have questions about the development at any stage, please contact the School Bursar's office and we will be pleased to help.
