AJS Evolves: Junior School Development

The exciting development of Alleyn's Junior School will consist of extensive refurbishment of the existing facilities, and the creation of a new, beautiful and highly versatile hall for use by the School and wider community. Watch our film and view the timeline and Q&A below.

The development has been planned over time and has taken in a great deal of careful and sensitive thought, alongside formal liaison with the appropriate planning authorities and consultation with local residents and neighbours. It will be transformative and augment virtually every area of school life, as well as supporting a slight increase in pupil numbers through the growth of the Infants to a two-form entry.

The information on this page will be regularly updated and we will add photography and video footage from time to time.

There may be an opportunity during Advent term for local residents to visit the school to learn more about the project and to see progress for themselves, depending on Covid circumstances. Once confirmed, we will share details with neighbours via our usual communications channels.

If you have questions about the development at any stage, please contact the School Bursar's office and we will be pleased to help.
