Anything Goes Cast and Crew Reunion

We were absolutely delighted to welcome back cast and crew members from the 2002 and 2014 productions of Anything Goes on 21 November for the chance to catch up and reminisce over their days of Drama at Alleyn’s and enjoy watching current pupils tackle the dazzling show!

Alumni and former staff were joined by long-serving current staff members including Mr Piper, Mr English and Mr Fish who were delighted to hear more about what their former pupils are up to now. Many of those at the reunion have gone on to have exciting careers in the Arts. Together they perused archive photos and the programmes from the shows alumni and former staff guests were involved in, sparking fond memories and shared stories from the Alleyn’s stage and behind the scenes.

After catching up, guests took their seats in the theatre to enjoy this year’s bold and ambitious student production of Anything Goes. The energy, talent and enthusiasm of the current cast impressed many of the returning alumni, who particularly enjoyed seeing how a new generation has made the musical their own.

Following the final curtain, alumni were invited on stage for a post-performance photograph with the current cast - a moment that beautifully linked more than 20 years of Alleyn’s theatrical history.

Thank you to everyone who returned to celebrate this memorable occasion. It was a joy to reconnect, reminisce and witness another triumphant chapter in the long-running legacy of Anything Goes at Alleyn’s.
