Alleyn's School students are celebrating an excellent set of A Level results this year, with strong performances across STEM, humanities, languages and the arts securing places at world-class universities in the UK and overseas.
Two thirds of pupils achieved a clean sweep of As and As, with one in five students receiving at least three As. Overall, 95% of results were awarded A*-B. The school also achieved a record 23 offers to Oxford or Cambridge, and was named in the 91st percentile nationally for "Value Add" — an independently assessed measure of pupils' academic progress during their time at school.
Destinations this year reflect the breadth of the cohort's interests and talents, ranging from Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Computer Science, Engineering and Law to History, Mental Health Nursing, Fashion, and Comics and Concept Art. One student has secured a prestigious apprenticeship with aerospace manufacturer Airbus, while two others will study Mental Health Nursing at the University of Manchester. Students receiving bursaries are heading to universities including Oxford, Durham, Imperial, Bristol, Manchester and King's College London.
Alleyn's was also once again recognised as among the UK's best performers in Art, with four students named as nationally highest achievers.

“This year’s outstanding A Level results reflect a year group who have been an immense asset to the school in their enthusiasm and commitment to study and their embodiment of school values. They have thrown themselves into every aspect of school life and shone the light for younger pupils through their leadership and their support for one another.
“Their strength across STEM, the humanities, art and languages is reflected in the incredible breadth in destinations and degree courses. I am hugely proud of this year group who I know will bring their academic skills as well as their creativity, values and leadership to a range of industries and professions in our evolving world. We are all so excited to see where their journeys take them. We are particularly proud of this year’s cohort because, as the ‘value add’ data indicates they are the product of extremely hard work, determination and commitment from our wonderful pupils and our wonderful staff. I’m bursting with pride in them all!”
