Founder's Day 2018 Saturday 30 June

No invitation necessary, just turn up, meet old friends and enjoy the fun range of activities on offer throughout the afternoon at School. Meet at the Pimm’s tent from 1.45pm onwards. Alternatively, if you would like to volunteer to serve or mix drinks on the day, please contact us at The Pimm’s tent is staffed by the Development and Alumni and Clubhouse team, parents and alumni volunteers, and all profits from the tent go to the Alleyn Benevolent Fund which funds Sixth Form bursaries, Gap year awards and the Pupil Hardship Fund.

The Oval Reunion, 25 September 2018, The Kia Oval

Micky Stewart and Ken Farrington are, once again, hosting this popular reunion at The Kia Oval on 25 September 2018, 11.30am in the  Pakistan Room, The Kia Oval.

Meet, eat, drink, chat and maybe even watch a spot of cricket.  However, you don't need to be a fan to enjoy the day, just come along to catch up with old friends and make new ones too.

Tickets £50. Please send a cheque payable to Alleyn's School or book online here. RSVP by 10 September letting us know of any dietary requirements.

Still time (just!) to book for the Decades Reunion Saturday June 16

It's a week away! The Alleyn's Summer Reunion for all those Decades ending in Eight is this year.  If you left in 1958, 68, 78, 88 or 98 (or if these were your cohorts) then we want you back at School for our biggest event of the year.  Please contact us if you would like to come but get in quickly!

John Stride (Brading's 1946-53)

11 July 1936 -  20 April 2018

AOB and actor John Stride was a Founder member of the Old Vic company who lit up the London stage in the 1960s and 70s as well on the TV. He played Hamlet,  Macbeth, and Antony in School productions, winning a scholarship to Rada. He is pictured here in the title role of Hamlet – in the Alleyn’s School production of March 1952.
