We are a leading HMC co-educational school for children aged 4 -18, nestled in the creative heart of south London with a cherished history dating back to our founding by Edward Alleyn in 1619.
At Alleyn’s, academic excellence shines through a modern and enterprising curriculum, powered by the continued pursuit of curiosity and rooted in our tradition. Passion is nurtured from a young age with an extensive co-curricular offering as Alleyn’s pupils are encouraged to ‘find their thing’ whether through sport, the arts or a whole host of other activities. Holistic pastoral care is an essential part of everyday life at Alleyn’s with pupils empowered with the tools they need for happiness and success in learning and life.
At Alleyn’s we are proud to be All We Can Be: the spirit of possibility is boundless.
Come and see what it’s all about
We recognise wonderful exam results are a by-product of an outstanding values-driven education. Our school values, the Alleyn’s ROCCK (Respect, Opportunity, Curiosity, Courage and Kindness), are embedded across the school from which staff and pupils can draw power and purpose.
Rather like the original Renaissance scholars, we see exam results as a by-product of the education we offer, not the central goal.
Alleyn’s has a wonderful history that we cherish along with a desire to remain at the forefront of education. Our School’s origins can be traced back to the enterprising Edward Alleyn in 1619.
Today, Alleyn’s is one of the foremost co-educational HMC schools.
Our manifesto summarises our ambitions, aspirations and motivations for enabling your child to become all they can be at Alleyn’s.
