We enhance the academic development and wellbeing of our students through the Alleyn’s Learners’ Programme (ALP) and Alleyn's Life Lab, a new, inter-disciplinary course.
Year 12 students engage in a wide range of opportunities that extend their academic reach and ambition, and support them in participating in outreach activities.
Our academic extension offering has recently included a project with the Prince's Trust on design and materials, an introduction to group theory in abstract mathematics, and courses on freedom of expression and censorship, and how to read a film.
Outreach activities have included primary school teaching, supporting the local community through the homelessness project Under One Sky, and volunteering at a local foodbank. These complement the extensive opportunities for outreach and partnership work offered in our co-curriculum.
