Welcome to Alleyn's Oakfield

Head's Welcome

A very warm welcome to Alleyn’s Oakfield.

It is a great privilege to be joining this school at such an exciting and important moment in its journey. Alleyn’s Oakfield is a place with a strong sense of identity, a deep commitment to childhood and learning, and a wonderfully warm community at its heart. I feel both grateful and energised to be leading the school as we continue to grow and evolve together.

Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do. They are curious, thoughtful, confident and kind, and it is a joy to spend time listening to them, learning what matters to them, and seeing the school through their eyes. Alongside them, our dedicated and talented staff provide the consistency, care and high expectations that allow children to feel secure, supported and inspired every day.

As part of Alleyn’s School, Alleyn’s Oakfield benefits from a shared vision for ambitious, holistic education while retaining the character, warmth and individuality that make this school unique. We are proud of our heritage and equally excited about the opportunities ahead; opportunities to strengthen learning, deepen relationships, and ensure that every child is known, valued and encouraged to be All They Can Be.

Change and growth bring new possibilities, and we approach this with confidence, optimism and a strong sense of continuity. Familiar routines, trusted relationships and the values that define our school remain firmly at the heart of our offering.

Whether you are already part of the Alleyn’s Oakfield community or discovering us for the first time, I look forward to getting to know you and working with our brilliant staff to create the greatest of learning environments for your children. Together, we will continue to nurture a school where children are happy, challenged and excited to learn in a place where they can truly thrive.

Ali Wright brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the education sector. Having worked at Alleyn’s Junior School for thirteen years, she has previously held roles as Director of Studies, Deputy Head and Head of the Junior School. On relocating with her family to Switzerland ten years ago, she was appointed Head of a bilingual school in the SIS Swiss International Schools Group and subsequently became Executive Head across four of the schools within this group, working with children aged from 3 to16. We have been fortunate this year, to have her return to work at Alleyn’s as a consultant, and now Interim Head at Alleyn’s Oakfield.
