Admissions

Alleyn's and Alleyn's Junior School welcome applications from boys and girls from all backgrounds. We look for candidates who will respond to the School's care, opportunities and values, and who will, in return, contribute to the School with their talents and enthusiasm.

The registration period for September 2021 entry to both the Senior School and Junior School is now open, and virtual open events for both the Senior and Junior School are now available online.

Open Events at Alleyn's Senior School

Visiting a school forms an important part of the decision-making process for families who are shortlisting schools for admissions applications. Our autumn programme of open events ordinarily allows parents and children to meet our pupils and staff, explore our facilities and get a sense of what it is like to be a pupil at Alleyn’s.

This autumn, as a direct result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we regret that the School site is closed to visitors.

Whilst we are unable to welcome visitors in person, we invite you to view our Virtual Open Day presentations which are available here. We hope that these will give you a flavour of life at Alleyn’s and answer some of your questions about the admissions process.

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Alleyn’s as soon as we can.

Virtual Small Group Meetings

Whilst we are unable to meet with visitors in person, we should be delighted to meet with families virtually, to answer any questions they have and chat about life at Alleyn's.

Meetings will be held from September and will last up to 40 minutes. If you would be interested in joining a virtual small group meeting with the Registrar and either the Head of Lower School & 11+ Admissions, or the Head of Upper School & 16+ Admissions, please complete this form. We will contact you in September to confirm meeting details.

Availability is limited and preference will be given to families with children who will be commencing Year 6 and Year 11 in September.

Music Department Virtual Open Event for Potential 11+ Music Scholars

This Open Event is open to Year 6 children who are applying or considering applying for a music scholarship for 11+ entry. We hope that this event will afford children the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Music Department and learn more about the scholarship process.

We expect potential scholars to offer at least two instruments, or voice and one instrument. Applicants do not need to have passed any formal music examinations in order to apply for a music scholarship but, as a guide, the standard expected on the principal instrument corresponds with Grade V.

Please complete this form to register for this event.

Open Events at Alleyn’s Junior School

This autumn, as a direct result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we regret that the School site is closed to visitors.

Whilst we are unable to welcome visitors in person, we invite you to view our Virtual Open Day presentations which are available here. We hope that these will give you a flavour of life at Alleyn’s Junior School and answer some of your questions about the admissions process.

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Alleyn’s Junior School as soon as we can and in the meantime would be delighted to meet with families virtually, to answer any questions they have and chat about life at Alleyn’s Junior School.  If you would be interested in joining the Headmaster and Registrar of Alleyn's Junior School for a virtual question and answer session, please complete this form. Availability is limited and preference will be given to families with children the correct age to make a 4+, 7+ or 9+ application in September for potential entry in September 2021.
