Alleyn's and Alleyn's Junior School welcome applications from boys and girls from all backgrounds. We look for candidates who will respond to the School's care, opportunities and values, and who will, in return, contribute to the School with their talents and enthusiasm.
The Junior School and Senior School are now accepting online registrations for potential entry in September 2020. Visit the appropriate page to learn more about the admissions process and to register online during the appropriate period.
Prospective pupils and their families are encouraged to attend one of our Open Events. Our next Open Event dates for the Junior School and the Senior School are shown in the tables below. All are welcome to attend these events and there is no need to book.
You can find out about school fees here. The Senior School offers means-tested financial assistance for children whose families may not otherwise be able to afford an Alleyn's education, as well as a registration fee waiver for those who qualify for the Pupil Premium.
Alleyn's Junior School Open Events
Tuesday 5 November from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm
Senior School Open Events for 11+ candidates
Wednesday 6 November at 2.00 pm
We ask visitors to arrive promptly for the start of the session, as we cannot accommodate visitors who arrive more than 30 minutes after the published time. School will be open to visitors from 1.30 pm, but not before.
Senior School Open Events for 16+ candidates
Online registration for 16+ entry in September 2020 is now closed, and there are no further Open Events. If you have any questions, please contact the Deputy Registrar on firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 020 8613 5026.
Music Department Open Day for Potential Music Scholars
The Music Department Open Morning for Potential Music Scholars is now full to capacity and we regret that we are unable to take any further reservations.
Small Group Tours with the Registrar
Informal small group tours of the School with the Registrar or Deputy Registrar take place regularly during the Summer Term only. These visits give families the opportunity to get a feel for Alleyn's on a normal school day and are most suitable for families of children who are currently in Year 5 (for 11+ entry) or Year 10 (for 16+entry). Visitors who wish to hear from the Headmaster, or speak with our Heads of Section or Department, should attend a formal open event.
Travelling to Alleyn's
There is no visitor parking available on site at Alleyn's, and road traffic can be heavy. We strongly recommend that visitors use active means of travel or public transport to visit us.
If you do travel by road, we ask that you drive and park with due consideration to our neighbours and their properties, and that you do not idle your engine - please help to protect our air quality by turning your engine off. More information, including the Dulwich & Herne Hill Safe Routes to School map, is available on the Find Us page.
If you need to drive because of disability we will be happy to accommodate you on site if you call in advance. Please call School Reception on 020 8557 1500.
