We have been developing a comprehensive Masterplan for Alleyn’s Oakfield, to shape a school campus and first class facilities that support future for learning.
Since taking on Alleyn's Oakfield, in September 2025, our vision has been to create a thriving two-form entry from Reception through to Year 6, supporting a balanced, sustainable school community, with the opportunity for younger children to look up to older children.

Central to this plan is our commitment to community and connection. We believe that bringing all pupils and staff together within a single building will create a more cohesive, collaborative and enriching environment for everyone.
Being together will result in stronger pastoral care and safeguarding, better curriculum continuity, a more integrated House system and lower lost teaching time as teachers will no longer switch from site to site.

When parents, staff and pupils return after the summer holidays 2026, they will see a more welcoming entrance and reception on the current Prep side, the north side of the road, and the Head’s office will be closer to the front of the school, so the Head is more accessible.

A new library will be combined with our new, state of the art nursing and wellbeing provision in The Well at the centre of our school, and our new Access Inclusion and Mentoring space will wrap around this wellbeing space.

By September 2027, we are aiming to bring all pupils together within a single building on the current Prep site. Reception will be accommodated in a purpose-built modular space and outdoor learning area designed specifically for younger learners including exciting enhancements to sports provision, music and performance spaces.
Alongside this, we will begin a programme of classroom improvements, refreshing individual spaces to enhance the learning environment. Looking ahead, we also have longer-term ambitions to further develop the school site, including exciting enhancements to sports provision.
While these plans continue to take shape, your children will still benefit from access to Alleyn’s excellent facilities at Burbage Road and Townley Road.
