Our annual Founder's Day sees the whole Alleyn's community come together for family-friendly fun with fairground rides, House stalls, arts performances, sport and CCF displays. The whole community comes together to support a range of House, School and APA charities. This year's event will be also celebrating 50 years of co-education at Alleyn's.
Alumni are warmly invited to join us and take part in the day’s activities. If you plan to come, please register using the form below to let us know and we look forward to welcoming you back to Townley Road.
Alumni are also invited to have a tour of the School and to take part in sports competitions. Please see some timings below and email us to sign up to any of the activities below:
- Tours – alumni are warmly invited to take a tour of Alleyn’s today led by our current pupils at 2.30pm
- Water Polo – a one-off inter-House alumni competition at 1.00pm
- Netball – alumni take to the court against current netballers at 1.00pm
- Cricket – alumni take on current cricketers in this annual match starting at 2.30pm
- Alumni Tent – the traditional Alumni Pimm’s Tent will once again be raising funds to support Upper School bursaries through the Alleyn Benevolent Fund.
A full schedule of the day will be available closer to the day.
This event is free to attend with optional food and refreshments available for purchase. However, we always welcome discretionary gifts made to the School should you feel willing and able to do so, via the form where indicated. All gifts will support bursaries at Alleyn's. If you would like your donation to be treated differently, do let us know.
Please note there is no parking available on site on Founder’s Day. If you are a blue badge holder, please let us know.
