Alleyn’s School is a leading co-educational independent day school in Dulwich, London, educating pupils aged 4–18 across its Senior School and two Junior Schools: Alleyn’s Oakfield and Alleyn’s Junior School.
The annual House pancake tossing competition took place this lunchtime - a little late this year so that the Year 13s could be here - but it was well worth the wait.
While competition was fierce, the atmosphere was supportive for each brave boy or a girl who represented their House. Competitors were given three attempts at tossing the pancake as high as they could. Extra claps were awarded for catching the pancake after, but it was the highest of the three tosses that was recorded as their final score.

There was some amazing athleticism and technique on show but the final winners were Spurgeon’s, with a mighty 17ft!
Well done to all involved for their superlative competitive spirit!
