First Aid Course - EFAW and EPFA

This course covers Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA).

Our First Aid courses equip you with the knowledge and confidence to act quickly in emergencies, potentially saving lives when every second counts. Attending a first aid course is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself and those around you whether that be work colleagues, friends or family.

Courses are led by Alleyn's Head of Adventure and Safety Training, Richard Alldrick.

A range of subjects will be covered including:

• Responsibilities and reporting
• Primary survey and secondary assessments
• Resuscitation and AED awareness for adults, children and babies
• Minor injuries
• Bleeding control
• Burns
• Choking for adults, children and babies
• Epilepsy and seizures
• Shock
