Alleyn’s sports medal

Marilyn Walker, Director of Sport, has nominated a sports medal. This is a picture of one of the first which was given out to pupils for excellence in sport. Sports medals, based on the design of this one (awarded in 1909), are presented to current pupils at the annual sports awards ceremonies held to celebrate sporting achievements.
