Saddlers’ shield in DT workshop

Brendan Allen, DT teacher, promotes ‘the plaque in the Saddlers’ workshop. I feel that The Saddlers’ Company, being  both an historic and a practical guild, is perfectly commemorated through our Saddlers’ workshop and its plaque. It is a place where students learn the fine art of working with their hands, often using techniques that have not changed since the height of the Guilds movement.’
