The new sports honours boards were created in 2009 and are on display in the Sports Pavilion. At the end of each year, the boards name those students who have captained any sport at Alleyn’s played that year. Rob Ody, Head of Boys’ PE, has nominated them because ‘these are a lasting record of those students who have contributed to School sport by captaining that activity. Each sport that is played is included which means that ALL sports are given equal parity in terms of the recognition of the work of the Captain. The boards are also aspirational in that younger pupils aspire to these positions of responsibility.’

Occasional vacancies are now open for ages 5+, 6+, 8+, and 10+, with an assured place to Alleyn's Senior School at 11+.
