Professor Kevin Fong inspires future space travellers

Year 6 joined pupils from Cobourg, Heber, Robert Browning and The Belham primary schools for a new outreach event, The Big Lecture, in the splendour of the Great Hall.

Drawing upon his own personal experiences and studies, Alleyn's Scientist in Residence, Professor Fong, outlined the challenges that were overcome in reaching the moon and those that will face future space travellers. The children were riveted and showed their fascination with the subject through their fabulous range of questions.
