Honours for alumni

Congratulations to Professor Sir Michael Houghton who was knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for his work identifying the Hepatitis C Vaccine in the 1980s. You can read more about his work which led to him jointly winning the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize in physiology or medicine on page 22-23 here. Many congratulations go too to Chris Grant, awarded the Order of the British Empire for his role on the Board of Sport England and services to sport.
