On Wednesday 29 September and Monday 5 October, Year 10 Geographers took a trip to the River Tillingbourne in Surrey. They got to see the different landforms in the river’s course and collect data on how characteristics changed downstream. They got into the river at three different sites and measured changes in width, depth and velocity to consider how cross-sectional area and discharge changes.

Everyone was thankful for the (mostly) sunny weather and luckily no one got too wet!
