The Royal Mail Heroes Stamp Design Competition was launched in April 2021 by Boris Johnson and the Chief executive of the Royal Mail, inviting children across the nation to design a postage stamp to celebrate Covid-19 heroes.
Milo decided to depict ‘kind neighbours’, using his parents as models and was surprised when he was shortlisted in September to the last 120 entries out of over 600,000 entrants, but he has now been told that he is one of the 16 Regional Winners.
Milo is understandably happy with the recognition:
"I am very happy to be in the top 16, I enjoyed making my entry and am very pleased to be a regional winner."
