Alleyn’s BAFTA 2022 success continues with the news that Aisha Bywaters née Walters received the award for Scripted Casting for the Channel 4 comedy-drama We Are Lady Parts.

Aisha was presented with her award at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards 2022 which celebrate behind-the-scenes talent in the British TV industry. You can watch her brilliant acceptance speech below.
Aisha is a casting director whose credits include independent films such as Body of Water, County Lines, The Last Tree, Dirty God and Mari, as well as the TV series Enterprice and We Are Lady Parts. She has been working most recently on the upcoming TV series adaptation of Dolly Alderton’s memoir Everything I Know About Love. Huge congratulations to Aisha and we look forward to seeing more of her casting wizardry in action!
