Alleyn’s School
The U15 girls cricket team progressed to the next round of the cup after a convincing victory over Forest School on Wednesday.
Although rain and hail delayed played for a while, the team certainly didn’t lose momentum at all. A powerful 70 runs off 64 balls for Zoe Dreaneen (Y10) and an electric 52 off 44 balls for Ruby Graham (Y10). This was followed up by great work by the team in the field and with the ball. Alleyn’s won by 57 runs having set 154 for 2 and the brilliant bowling attack and work behind the stumps by Holly Hart restricted the opposition to 97 for 4. Another superb team contribution.
