Pupils were invited to make a £2 donation and wear a Christmas jumper today as part of the Charity Committee’s final fundraising event for 2022 and the Committee members were out in force collecting donations at the gate as pupils arrived.
Donations will go towards the school’s charity partners, Under One Sky and Sparrow Schools.
This being the day pupils sit down to a festive lunch, it is lovely seeing pupils celebrating while remembering the needs of others.
Maya in Year 12 and Chair of the Charity Committee, commented:
“All the money we raise will go towards funding new co-curricular programmes at Sparrow Schools in South Africa and funding to provide homeless people living in the UK shelter over the winter period.”
