British Science Week: Lower School Science Club

Pupils had a chance today to see some familiar faces on the staff body playing with fire, including Lower School Administrator, Mrs De Salis.

They then painted a designs of their choice onto paper with an oxidising agent and set light it, all with the help of teachers and sixth form scientists.

As they had fun, they were learning about energy transfer, exothermic reactions, and the properties of different chemicals.

This is just one of the exciting ways we are celebrating British Science Week.
