Alleyn’s School is a leading co-educational independent day school in Dulwich, London, educating pupils aged 4–18 across its Senior School and two Junior Schools: Alleyn’s Oakfield and Alleyn’s Junior School.
Tuesday, 20 June saw the much-anticipated return of the annual golf fixtures between the Alleyn’s school pupils' team, staff team, and the Alumni team from the Edward Alleyn Golf Society (EAGS).
The three-way Stapleford match was held at Dulwich and Sydenham Golf Club and six three balls played out three tight matches.
The winners on the day were the EAGS team who scored 113, led by Ciaran Abel (Brading’s 2003) who scored 43 points. Also representing the alumni team were Ian Simpson (Tulley’s 1979), Paul Selwyn (Brading’s 1965), Dave Stallard (Cribb’s 1986), Nigel Boatswain (Dutton’s 1980) and their captain Dave Slaney (Tyson’s 1979).
The Alleyn’s teaching staff team were led on the day by Mr Neil Green (36 points) and the pupils by Year 12, James (31 Points).
Many thanks to Jack Maskill and George Thorne (Cribb’s 1960), Honorary Secretary EAGS, for their efforts in organising such a successful day.
