It was wonderful to welcome Professor Kevin Fong back into school today, and he spent the day in Science lessons across the year groups, who were studying topics as diverse as Respiration to the Immune System, and putting some curriculum areas into a wider context.
Director of Science Mr Jones, said:
"Our curiosity was once again encouraged and fed as we considered respiratory physiology and mathematical modelling from the context of COVID-19, Medical Physics and Mars Exploration, Rotational dynamics and helicopter crashes, and the hot topic of Radiation Poisoning. What a day!"
We consider ourselves very fortunate to benefit from Professor Fong's expertise on his visits.
