Year 5 spent the day on the top field with The Problem Solving Company, where they enjoyed a number of Bushcraft-related activities. They made a shelter, did some orienteering, filtered dirty water, built a raft/Flintstones-esque car and learnt how build a campfire and light it safely.

At the end of the day, the children loved roasting marshmallows on the fires they had made and having a cup of hot chocolate, before watching the sun begin to go down behind St Barnabus Church. The children were a credit to themselves and entered into every activity with exuberance and an excellent sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Mr Neil and Miss Luddington were very proud of them!
