Senior School News Beyond Alleyn's

This week, Year 10 students spent the day volunteering with Lambeth and Croydon Foodbank, working alongside local volunteers to sort and organise food donations. The visit offered a powerful insight into the scale of food insecurity faced by families in the area and the vital role that community organisations play in offering support.

Students showed exceptional enthusiasm and teamwork throughout, earning high praise from the Foodbank volunteers for their focus and positivity.

The visit formed part of Alleyn’s wider Community Partnerships Programme, which encourages pupils to make meaningful connections within the local community and to develop a lasting sense of social awareness and responsibility.
