Excitement was in the air on Thursday as Year 7 and 8 Scholars gathered around the cloud chamber for our very first Scholarship Bite - a quick, five-minute “curiosity moment” designed to ignite young minds.
Dr Moore, Head of Physics, captivated students as they watched subatomic particles streak across the chamber, invisible lines of energy released by the decay of radon gas. The room buzzed with awe and questions, as our Scholars witnessed science in action in a way that textbooks alone can’t capture.
These short, stimulating sessions are just the beginning of our new initiative to broaden horizons, spark curiosity, and make learning an adventure - one particle at a time.
