Senior School News Beyond Alleyn's

The third and final boot camp of this term’s LSE Generate project took place this week in the Great Hall, bringing a focused and forward-looking energy to the cohort. This session centred on prototype testing and development, with students sharpening their ability to communicate ideas clearly and craft a compelling pitch ahead of Demo Day on 8 December.

The afternoon was led by the dynamic and inspiring Jo, one of LSE’s mentors, whose clear explanations and highly interactive activities kept momentum high throughout. Her warm, encouraging approach helped students think boldly and refine their concepts with confidence. She was joined in the second half by additional mentors, who spent time with each team, offering valuable conversations and prompting them to dig deeper into the real-world problems they aim to solve.

With so much to cover, the final boot camp felt pacey, purposeful and energising. Students left with practical guidance and a renewed sense of direction as they return to their groups to fine-tune prototypes and polish their pitches in the coming weeks. And with an internship at LSE awaiting the winning team, the countdown to Demo Day is officially on.
