Senior School News Beyond Alleyn's

On Thursday, 40 Year 9 Spanish pupils enjoyed a vibrant and enriching day at JAGS, joining four other local schools for a celebration of language and culture. The morning opened with two excellent talks exploring the power of learning Spanish, from boosting future career prospects to opening doors across a wide range of sectors.

Pupils then settled in for a screening of the heart-warming film Los Futbolísimos, which brought to life themes of respect, teamwork and friendship. Inspired by the story, they also picked up a wealth of new vocabulary linked to the film’s plot and characters.

A lively Kahoot quiz rounded off the day, with the Alleyn’s team, Theo, Elliot and Theo, taking a well-earned victory. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience for all involved.
