This week our brass players were put through their paces in the finals of the Malcolm Smith Brass Prize. Our adjudicator, James Buckle, bass trombone in the Philharmonia and professor at the Royal Academy of Music, was hugely impressed by our young musicians and gave insightful and invaluable feedback to help them build on their performances.
Well done to all who took part, and especially to those who placed within their classes.
