We have recently announced an exciting partnership with Kitlocker.com, who, after a rigorous tender process, have been appointed to provide a specially branded Castore kit for the school, catering to the diverse needs of our pupils across various sports and activities.

Castore is well known and admired within the professional and schools’ sports sector for its high-quality, stylish, sports performance-first clothing and we are pleased that they have provided the best suited offer for the school and for parents.

Taking significant steps to ensure that the new sports kit meets our standards of comfort, durability, and suitability for all pupils, we have listened to feedback from pupils across different year groups in selecting the new supplier, and their comments have been instrumental in shaping the design and functionality of the new uniform.

The partnership marks the beginning of an exciting journey between Alleyn’s, Kitlocker.com, and Castore – we have a shared commitment to enhancing sports experiences for pupils just starting in reception right through to our high-performance teams, while fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the field.

Adam Knight, Head of Teamwear at Castore, said “Castore is proud to have extended our education portfolio and partnered with Alleyn’s School. We feel the partnership with Alleyn’s epitomises our Better Never Stops ethos and are really excited about seeing the product come to life.”

To make the uniform transition easier, we have devised a thoughtful approach in which the new kit will be available for purchase from June 2024, but will not be mandatory until September 2026, allowing ample time for pupils to wear out their existing uniforms. Additionally, financial support will be extended to pupils whose fees are fully funded by bursaries.

To further ensure a smooth transition and facilitate confident purchases, Kitlocker.com will host a fitting day at the school in June, with time slots allocated based on pupil age.

The partnership between Alleyn’s School, Kitlocker.com, and Castore signifies a commitment to excellence in sports provision, and we cannot wait to see the new kit out on the court, the field and the pitch.

Ryan Shedwick, Director of Sport, has expressed enthusiasm for the deal, stating: ‘We are thrilled to have a sportswear partnership that reflects our ambition and high standards across the sports offer at Alleyn’s. Castore and Kitlocker.com are known for their innovative and sensitively developed sports kit and we have worked with them to create a kit that will make every Alleyn’s student feel comfortable and equipped to take part in our sports programme.’
