A group of Alleyn’s staff and Year 13 students had the privilege of attending a remarkable evening at the Southbank Centre with Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first Black woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
In conversation with writer and broadcaster Afua Hirsch, Justice Jackson shared insights from her memoir Lovely One, offering a story for dreamers everywhere. Her reflections on resilience, ambition, and the power of representation were both inspiring and motivational, leaving our students and staff energised and uplifted.
It was an unforgettable experience that sparked meaningful discussion and a sense of possibility for the future.
