Over Half Term, our Year 9 Food & Nutrition pupils headed to the Amalfi Coast for four unforgettable days of cooking, tasting, exploring and eating their way through Italy.
From hands-on pizza and gnocchi-making workshops to olive oil and gelato tastings, every day was a delicious adventure. Even a little rain couldn’t dampen spirits as pupils explored the stunning towns of Positano, Amalfi and Salerno, enjoyed a traditional feast at Agriturismo Galatea, and discovered the secrets behind authentic Italian gelato at Gelateria David.
The trip rounded off with a fascinating visit to ancient Pompeii, where pupils walked among ruins, admired centuries-old mosaics, and spotted political graffiti preserved for over 2,000 years.
A huge thank you to all our Food & Nutrition staff for leading such a fantastic trip, and to our brilliant pupils for embracing every moment with enthusiasm and smiles throughout.
