On Saturday 15th, Alleyn’s swimmers made a huge splash on the national stage at the ESSA 67th Secondary Relays Championship, with all four of our qualifying teams delivering outstanding performances against top competition from across the country.
Representing the school with determination and real team spirit, our squads competed in both Freestyle and Medley events:
- 4x50m Freestyle Relay - Junior Boys
A strong, confident swim that showcased impressive pace and technical skill. - 4x50m Freestyle Relay - Junior Girls
A standout performance saw the team qualify for the finals, where they secured an impressive 5th place overall. Even more exciting, they broke the school record during the qualifying round, setting a new benchmark for future swimmers. - 4x50m Medley Relay - Junior Boys
The boys delivered a disciplined and dynamic medley, showing excellent transitions and competitive spirit. - 4x50m Medley Relay - Junior Girls
Another remarkable highlight of the day, with the team breaking the school swimming record - a fantastic achievement and a testament to their teamwork and preparation.
These results reflect not only the talent within our junior squads but the hard work they have put in throughout the season. Every swimmer contributed to an inspiring day of competition, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements on the national stage.
