Spurgeon’s House recently hosted a successful charity quiz night, providing an opportunity for parents and pupils to connect, socialise, and support a meaningful cause. The event was organised to raise funds for Feed the Hill, a local charity addressing food poverty by delivering food to those who cannot get out and running a social supermarket. They accept both financial contributions or donations can also be dropped off at the supermarket.
The evening was filled with lively quiz rounds on science, food and drink, movies, and more, keeping everyone entertained and engaged. Parents and pupils enjoyed the friendly competition, and exciting prizes were presented to quiz winners. At the end of the night, not only did Spurgeon’s House raise vital funds for Feed the Hill, but there was a sense of community and purpose.
Spurgeon’s House will keep parents updated on the impact of their contributions and the ongoing support provided to families in need. Thanks to everyone’s participation, the event was a wonderful success, proving once again that when we come together, we can make a difference.
