Mr Neil Green (Assistant Head Co-Curricular & Partnerships) concluded his year of Presidential duties for 2024, during the holidays with his final address and presentation of medals at the ESSA & Swim England Prince of Wales Cup held at the Manchester Aquatic Centre the day after term finished.
The water polo event saw the best 60 boys and 60 girls (born 2011) compete together for the prestigious trophy which has recently been renamed from the Duke of Cambridge Cup to the Prince of Wales Cup following the adjustment of Royal titles.
There was a special written message from the Prince of Wales himself at the start of the event as the patron of ESSA. Wilfred M was selected from Alleyn’s and competed at this event. On the same day at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School Ella T, Freya H and Florence L were selected for the London Talent Centre age group games where they competed against two other national talent centres from across the country.
