Congratulations to the 95 Alleyn’s pupils who successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Qualifying Expedition in the New Forest last week.

Over two days and one night, pupils demonstrated extraordinary resilience, teamwork, and independence as they navigated a 24km route, carrying all their own kit, food, and supplies. The expedition marked the culmination of months of preparation and training, and we are proud to share that every participant passed.

Richard Alldrick, Head of Adventure, praised the group’s commitment and spirit:
“This expedition was a real test of character, and it was inspiring to see pupils supporting one another, solving problems together, and pushing themselves through both physical and mental challenges. They should all be incredibly proud.”

Thanks go to the many staff who supported the pupils throughout their DofE journey, from early training sessions to the final overnight challenge. Their time, encouragement, and expertise played a vital role in the success of our pupils.

We look forward to celebrating their achievements in a special presentation where they will receive their Bronze Award badge and certificate. We also hope to see many of them take on the next step - working towards their Silver, and even Gold, Awards.

Well done to all involved!
