40% of exams were awarded an A*, 80% received an A* or A and 94% were awarded an A*-B grade.

The Year 13 class of 2025 has celebrated an exceptional milestone, with the highest-ever percentage of A*-B grades at Alleyn’s and 1 in 6 students receiving 3 or more A*s

Students received the best ever set of results in Biology, Drama, Film Studies, German, Music, PE and Philosophy, and four students were recognised as top performers nationally in their Art A Level.

Head, Jane Lunnon, said

“I am thrilled that this wonderful year group have achieved such brilliant A Levels results; it’s a real testament to all their hard work of course. But also, so much to the culture and friendship of these terrific young people; their hard work, enthusiasm and camaraderie have been a trademark throughout their time here at Alleyn’s.

“This year we celebrate 50 years of co-education, and I believe that our strength of offering as a co-educational school is evident in our excellent results across arts, STEM, languages and humanities. I am delighted that a strong cohort of girls will be taking up places to study STEM subjects ranging from aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering to geophysics and maths; and that brilliant students who have honed their craft in our music rooms, theatres and studios will be going on to pursue drama, music and art at conservatoires and colleges.”

Twenty-one students are taking up places at Oxford and Cambridge and nineteen will be going on to study medicine. 95% of Alleyn’s students have met the requirements for their first-choice or insurance university offers and will be heading to destinations including US and European universities, music and drama conservatoires, art colleges, and Russell Group Universities including Edinburgh, Durham and Bristol.

Jane Lunnon also highlighted the achievements of the school's bursary students, praising their dedication and success.

“I am hugely proud that students who received bursaries to attend Alleyn’s have secured offers at a wide range of highly competitive institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial College, MIT, Manchester and KCL to study courses including Medicine, English Literature, AI, Maths, Law, Computer Science and PPE.”

The success of Alleyn’s Year 13 class of 2025 marks a proud moment for the school community, as these students prepare to embark on their next steps with confidence, curiosity, and determination.
