A beloved Alleyn's tradition, the Year 13 Leavers’ Show is always a bittersweet highlight in the school calendar. It is both a celebration and a send-off, it marks the final time these students gather before diving into the rigours of exam season and eventually, life beyond school walls.

This year’s show is a vibrant and heartfelt mix of humour, talent, and nostalgia, showcasing not just performances but the strong sense of community that defines Alleyn’s.

This year’s lunchtime abridged version may have been shorter - owing to several performers being called away to final rehearsals at Southwark Cathedral but it didn’t fall short on spirit or creativity. rom high-energy musical numbers to clever tributes, the show struck a perfect balance between laughter, sentiment, and sheer talent.

A standout moment came with a spirited homage to their Economics teacher, featuring a lively rendition of ABBA’s Money, Money, Money. The audience also enjoyed a playful nod to Tangled, along with a hip-hop number with elegant piano preludes.

This show also included some poignant musical numbers, Somewhere Only We Know - a reminder, we think, that while each student’s journey is unique, the shared memories forged at Alleyn’s will always unite them. It was a moving reflection on a place they’ve made their own - and one that, we hope, will always remain a part of them.

A performance of One Direction’s History provided a fitting sentiment for this cohort. These students have made their mark. While they may be leaving, they remain an indelible part of our collective story.

We wish our Year 13s the very best for their upcoming exams and hope they never truly say goodbye to the school that has been theirs for so long.
