Senior School News Beyond Alleyn's

Students from our Year 12 cohort have been working closely with several Year 11s from our partner school in Pau, France on a series of thoughtful, future-focused projects. Their shared mission: exploring the circular economy, investigating how farms can sustainably support cities, and tackling the universal challenge of food waste.

Yesterday, the two schools came together online for a lively debate. While discussions covered everything from sustainable agriculture to the global food system, there were a few joyful detours into the best and worst school dinners, football loyalties, and Taylor Swift discourse, because what’s an international exchange without a little fun?

At the heart of this partnership is Alleyn’s Psychology teacher, Natasha Timpson, who has been leading the project with extraordinary dedication. Her hard work, vision, and enthusiasm have helped this collaboration flourish into something genuinely impactful.

Students on both sides agreed it was a pretty cool and memorable international experience, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming our friends from St Dominique when they visit us in March.
